The 2024 edition of the Almond Insurance Awards, attended by key stakeholders across the insurance sector—including policymakers, clients, entertainers, and the insuring public—celebrated individuals and organizations in eleven categories within the insurance ecosystem.

This year’s panel of judges included:

  • Hon. Justice Olufunmilayo O. Atilade, the 15th Chief Judge of Lagos State;
  • Ms. Prisca Soares, former Secretary General of the African Insurance Organization (AIO);
  • Dr. Jide Fadun, Risk Management and Insurance Specialist, Senior Lecturer in Actuarial Science and Insurance at the University of Lagos;
  • Mr. Obinna Chilekezie, Insurance Expert and former Head of Research and Statistics at the Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA);
  • Mr. Obashola Alo, Group Head of Financial Risk/Insurance at Dangote Group;
  • Mr. Rasaak Salami, Assistant Director and Head of Corporate Affairs at the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).
