The journey that started over a century ago has taken to a greater dimension in underwriting and risk management business with the landmark restructuring to Rex Insurance Limited.
The company’s new identity was officially launched at the commissioning of its new head office building located in the heart of Victoria Island, Lagos over the weekend.
Over the past three years, the company has experienced injection of additional capital by two investors, Blue Orchard through its Insuresilience Fund and Africinvest also through its Financial Inclusion Vehicle –Five and traverses the world of digitization and digitalisation of processes as part of its Digital transformation journey.
Mrs Ebelechukwu Nwachukwu, the managing director and chief executive officer of the company, disclosed that the commissioning of the new head office building and the launch of a new brand marked a significant milestone in the company’s journey that started since 1918 and a testament to the hard work, dedication, and vision of everyone involved.
“We have transformed our approach to customer services and improved our human resources. Revamping of Brand today is to reflect all of the changes that have already happened to the business and the transformation that is still on going.
It is with immense pride and great joy that I stand before you today as we celebrate the commissioning of our new head office building and the launch of our refreshed and new brand.”
She added that “This moment marks a significant milestone in our company’s journey that started since 1918 and a testament to the hard work, dedication, and vision of everyone involved. We are truly a transgenerational company and today’s occasion is to celebrate this,” said Mrs Nwachukwu.”
The CEO also stressed that the unveiling of the new brand identity depicts a true representation of who they are and what they stands for, as digital, customer focused company, with great simplified products, a commitment to developing climate based Agric insurance products, develop simple inclusive products to serve the growing retail market.
