1. DEFINITIONS

This User Agreement (“Agreement” or “User Agreement”) is a contract between you and Rex Insurance Limited and applies to your use of the Rex Insurance Limited Web Portal/ platform, facilities and services operated by the Company and any related products and services. This Agreement affects your rights and you should read it carefully. We encourage you to print the Agreement or copy it to your computer’s hard drive for your reference.

In this Agreement, “you” or “your” or “User”means any person or entity using the Rex Insurance Limited Web portal/platform .

Unless otherwise stated, “Rex Insurance  General Insurance,” “we” or “our” will refer collectively to Rex Insurance Limited and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents and contractors. 2. ACCEPTANCE

By clicking “I Agree”, “I Accept”; or by submitting your personal information at registration point to Rex Insurance  or its accredited agent you agree to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Rex Insurance Limited Privacy Policy, and any documents incorporated by reference. You further agree that this User Agreement forms a binding agreement between you and Rex Insurance Limited and that this Agreement constitutes “writing signed by you” under any applicable law or regulation. Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by Rex Insurance  General Insurance

3. CHANGE IN WEB PORTAL ACCOUNT/USER AGREEMENT

The terms stated here may be changed by Rex Insurance  General Insurance; and such changes will be posted on the its website in the “Policy Updates” section that is displayed to you when you log in to the website and there will be sufficient notice to the User. Any revised User Agreement is effective upon the user accessing this Web Portal Account.

 Access to the Services operated by Rex Insurance Limited is available to members, clients and other users who accept the terms of this User Agreement (“Users”). Complete access to Rex Insurance  Services is available to Users who register and set up a membership account (“Account”).

4. REGISTRATION

Access to the service requires a registration with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration. A successful registration is dependent on User acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. When accessing the Website, User will be required to provide the following information for registration:

Address

After successful registration, the User will receive a confirmation of User identification and password by the email.

5. MEMBER ACCOUNT,PASSWORD AND SECURITY

User is solely responsible to maintain an appropriate email account and to promptly update all information and changes to its email account. User is solely responsible for any and all activities that occur under user’s account and for ensuring that the User exists or log-off from the User’s account at the end of each session of use. If User is conducting this session on a public computer or is otherwise using a computer to which multiple people have potential access, the User has to be sure to follow all relevant instructions and to ensure to be sufficiently disconnected or logged off the Web Portal and the computer system to prevent unauthorized access to User’s account.

Any access to the Services after successful registration require the specification of the user identification and the password

6. RESTRICTION ON USE MATERIALS

Materials in this website are copyrighted and all rights are reserved. Text, graphics, databases and other intellectual property are protected by Nigerian and International Copyright Laws, and may not be copied, reprinted, published, reengineered, translated, hosted, or otherwise distributed by any means without explicit permission. All of the trademarks on this site are trademarks of Rex Insurance Limitedor of other owners used with their permission.

Rex Insurance Limited warrants, and you accept, that Rex Insurance is the owner of the copyright of the Databases of Links to articles and resources available from time to time through http://www.rexinsure.com. Rex Insurance and its contributors reserve all rights and no intellectual property rights are conferred by this agreement.

Rex Insurance Limited grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use database(s) accessible to you subject to these Terms and Conditions. The database(s) may be used only for viewing information or for extracting information to the extent described below.
You agree to use information obtained from Rex Insurance Limited Web Portal databases only for your own private use or the internal purposes of your home or business, provided that is not the selling or broking of information, and in no event cause or permit to be published, printed, downloaded, transmitted, distributed, reengineered, or reproduced in any form any part of the databases (whether directly or in condensed, selective or tabulated form) whether for resale, republishing, redistribution, viewing, or otherwise.

Some of this statistical information is collected by using cookies, but none of the statistical information we collect allows us to identify a visitor. We use this information to evaluate our website or intranet performance and continually improve our services.

Other than statistical information, we do not collect any information about you through our website or intranet unless you provide the information to us.

9. TERMINATION

Either Rex Insurance Limited or User may terminate this Agreement at any time. Without limitation of the foregoing, Rex Insurance  may immediately terminate User’s Account  in the event of any conduct by User which Rex Insurance  General Insurance, in its sole discretion, considers to be unacceptable or in breach of this Agreement or any applicable law or regulation or which does or may tend to expose Rex Insurance  or any other content provider or licensor to any liability.

10. MISCELLANEOUS

This Agreement and any operating rules and guidelines as advised by Chams constitute the entire agreement of the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes all previous written or oral agreements between the parties with respect to such subject matter.

11. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. No waiver by either party of any breach or default hereunder shall be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach or default. The provisions herein are for the benefit of Chams, its affiliates, third party content providers and licensors and each of such shall have the right to assert and enforce such provisions directly on its own behalf.
